Talent Show Registration

Rules:

Contestants must provide their own music on a CD or USB flash drive. Contestant’s name must be clearly marked. Note, it is recommended that only your performance music appear on your CD or USB flash drive. If you will be playing a musical instrument you will need to supply your own amplification system if needed for your performance.

Please note:

1. First 20 acts accepted, maximum time limit of 3 minutes per performance.

2. All performers MUST report to the stage area of the auditorium no later than 11:15AM (15 minutes before show time). At check-in contestants will be given a schedule of appearances. Anyone not reporting at this time may forfeit their spot.

3. This will be an open competition for everyone with no age restrictions, except that no bands will be competing.

4. Prizes will be awarded as follows:

  • 1st place winner – $250

  • 2nd place winner – $150

  • 3rd Place winner $100

  • 4th place winner $75

  • 5th, 6th and 7th place winners - $50 each.

5. Northampton Days Inc. reserves the right to reject any act that is felt to be inappropriate.

6. All contestants perform at their OWN RISK.

7. Sound systems failure will not negatively impact judging.

8. You will not be allowed to change your performance selection after the September 12th deadline as printed program pamphlets will be distributed with names, performance and order of appearance.
